Weymouth, England – In Weymouth, England, a violent incident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday, February 15, leaving two 18-year-olds injured. One of the victims sustained a fractured skull, while the other suffered facial injuries that did not require immediate medical attention.
Authorities have charged a 14-year-old boy from Weymouth and a 17-year-old boy from Ferndown with wounding with intent, violent disorder, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Due to legal reasons, the identities of the accused have not been disclosed.
The 17-year-old suspect appeared in Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 21, while the 14-year-old is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday, March 11. Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man from Weymouth and a 17-year-old boy from Christchurch, who were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, are currently on police bail as investigations continue.
Following initial arrests, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy have been released without charge, with no further police action expected against them. Detective Constable Mia-Isabella Bowditch of Dorset County CID emphasized that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and encouraged anyone with relevant information or footage to come forward to assist in the inquiries.
