SAN ANTONIO — A Christmas gathering took a tragic turn early Monday morning when a dispute between neighbors escalated into violence, resulting in a stabbing and multiple injuries.
The incident unfolded around 1:20 a.m. in a residential neighborhood near Castle Hunt Drive. According to authorities, a family celebrating the holiday in their front yard had an altercation with a nearby resident. Following a brief exchange, the father of the family struck the other man. Shortly afterward, the man returned to the scene with a group of individuals.

Emergency responders transported the son to a local hospital where he was treated for a significant head injury but is currently in stable condition. The father, however, was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
