Las Vegas, Nevada – A tragic incident occurred in the central Las Vegas Valley resulting in the death of a pedestrian after being struck by a truck. Mariana Armenta-Jauriqui, 24, has been apprehended and charged with open murder with a deadly weapon following the incident, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
The fatal crash took place around 2:10 a.m. at the intersection of West Sahara Avenue and South Valley View Boulevard. Reports from Metro detectives suggest that the truck intentionally hit the victim after a brief interaction, leading to the arrest of Armenta-Jauriqui.
