The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to a shooting and subsequent car crash on Reece Boulevard, where a vehicle collided with a house, resulting in the discovery of a deceased juvenile with gunshot wounds inside the car.
Captain Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit disclosed that a second victim sustained gunshot wounds and is currently in critical condition at DCH Regional Medical Center. The collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies, including the VCU, TPD, and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, were instrumental in processing the extensive crime scene.
