Teenagers Face Murder Charges in St. Petersburg Shooting Rampage

St. Petersburg, Florida – Authorities in St. Petersburg, Florida, have charged two teenagers with murder following the discovery of a deceased 21-year-old man in the 100 block of 80th Avenue NE over the weekend.

Marcus Rivers, 21, was found dead in his car on Saturday afternoon, with police determining that he had been fatally shot. Alongside Rivers, 17-year-old Tyvion Royal was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound, believed to be one of three individuals involved in an attempted robbery against Rivers. Royal, currently hospitalized at Orlando Health Bayfront St. Petersburg, remains in critical but stable condition as of Sunday. Additionally, another suspect, 16-year-old Samarion Douglas, is also facing potential charges of first-degree felony murder and armed robbery in connection to the incident.
