Targeted Gunmen Shoot Five, Killing Four-Year-Old Girl in San Antonio Tragedy

San Antonio, Texas – Five individuals, including three young children, were the unfortunate victims of a targeted shooting at a residence in San Antonio, Texas. Tragically, a four-year-old girl lost her life due to injuries sustained during the incident.

The distressing event transpired around 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday, when two gunmen armed with semi-automatic rifles emerged from a vehicle and unleashed gunfire at a house located off Windsor Hollow Drive in San Antonio’s Northeast Side.

Authorities revealed that upon their arrival, they discovered five individuals who had been shot, with three of them being children under the age of 10, the youngest being just four years old, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

All five victims were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where the youngest victim tragically succumbed to her injuries. The remaining four victims, including two adults in their 20s and 30s, were reported to be in critical to grave condition.

Despite initial investigations, no arrests have been made as of yet. Sheriff Salazar disclosed that the investigative team was actively pursuing various leads, including a suspect who is suspected of having had prior communication with one of the victims via text message before the shooting incident.

During a press conference discussing the incident, Sheriff Salazar elaborated on the severity of the situation, emphasizing that the suspects utilized high-capacity weapons and fired a substantial number of rounds within a matter of seconds. He expressed gratitude that the outcome was not more tragic and stressed the critical nature of the ongoing investigation in apprehending those responsible for this heinous act.
