Suspect Sought in West Hollywood Assault with Deadly Weapon

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect who assaulted a Block-By-Block Security Ambassador with a deadly weapon in West Hollywood.

The incident took place on Feb. 15 at approximately 1:20 a.m. on the 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Surveillance footage shows two individuals with flashlights, one of whom was walking a dog, engaging in a confrontation with the security ambassador, leading to a physical altercation. The situation escalated, and the victim was beaten and hit with pepper spray.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station have arrested one suspect on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. However, a second suspect, described as an adult male standing around 5 feet 10 inches, remains at large.
