Strangling Guilty Verdict: Olathe Man Convicted in Aggravated Domestic Battery Case

LAWRENCE, Kansas – Austin W. Kidder, 32, of Olathe, was recently found guilty of aggravated domestic battery for the strangling of a Lawrence woman, as reported by Douglas County District Attorney Suzanne Valdez. Kidder’s sentencing is scheduled for March 29, with potential prison time ranging from 11 to 34 months for the aggravated domestic battery conviction and up to six months in the county jail for the criminal damage to property conviction.
