South Carolina Extends Winning Streak to Seven with Dominant Victory Over Vanderbilt

Columbia, South Carolina – No. 15 South Carolina rallied in the second half to secure a 75-60 victory over Vanderbilt, extending their winning streak to seven games. After trailing by four points at halftime, the Gamecocks outscored the Commodores 47-28 in the second half, shooting 56 percent from the field and 44 percent from beyond the arc.

Head coach Lamont Paris praised his team’s second-half performance, emphasizing their ability to execute their game plan and dominate on both ends of the court. Forward Collin Murray-Boyles delivered an impressive performance, scoring 31 points on 14-of-17 shooting while also contributing seven rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal.

Paris commended Murray-Boyles for his energy, athleticism, and basketball instincts, highlighting his potential for further growth as a player. The Gamecocks also received significant contributions from B.J. Mack, Meechie Johnson, and Ta’Lon Cooper, solidifying their victory.
