Shooting Tragedy Unfolds in Lilburn Shopping Plaza with Fatal Consequences

Lawrenceville, Georgia – A tragic incident unfolded Saturday night in Lilburn, where a man opened fire in a shopping plaza along Lawrenceville Highway. The gunman reportedly shot and killed a woman before turning the gun on her new husband and then himself at the Merchants Walk Plaza.

The Lilburn police department responded to the scene and found a 57-year-old woman dead inside the Tana Food Mart. Additionally, a 62-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to the leg. Both victims were rushed to Northside Gwinnett Hospital, while the suspect was in critical condition.
