DELTONA, Fla. — The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that transpired in Deltona on Thursday evening. The incident took place at 321 Fisher Drive, where authorities responded to reports of gunshots at around 9:11 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered one individual deceased at the scene.

Residents in the area, such as Rob Redgate, recalled hearing gunshots and noticing a significant police presence in the neighborhood. The situation prompted fear and concern among neighbors, with one choosing to remain anonymous after hearing the disturbing sound of gunfire.
