Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Four Wounded at Private Party in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, Arkansas – Two individuals lost their lives and four others sustained injuries in a tragic shooting incident in Jonesboro, Arkansas, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities. The alleged perpetrator was also reported deceased, officials stated.

Authorities responded to the scene early Sunday morning, where they discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds in a residential area, according to a statement from the Jonesboro Police Department. The shooting occurred during a private gathering at an abandoned structure in the city’s northeast region, north of Little Rock, police spokesperson Sally Smith disclosed.

The suspect was acquainted with the male and female victims who tragically lost their lives, as well as another female victim who suffered injuries, as per an updated update from the police. The female victims were identified as siblings, and the incident was classified as a domestic shooting, Smith revealed.

Additionally, three additional individuals were reported wounded during the shooting, increasing the total number of casualties.
