Shooting in Corridor Leaves One Dead, Suspect Sought by Police

San Diego, California – A tragic shooting incident in the Corridor neighborhood of City Heights claimed the life of a man in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as confirmed by the San Diego Police Department.

Law enforcement responded to reports of the shooting at an apartment complex on 36th Street around 2:30 a.m. Officers discovered the victim in the complex’s courtyard with at least one gunshot wound, and unfortunately, the individual succumbed to their injuries.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s, fled the scene following the shooting. Authorities reported that the suspect was last seen heading south towards University Avenue, dressed in white pants, a black shirt, and carrying a black backpack.
