Shooter sought after two young men gunned down near North Garland High School

GARLAND, Texas – Police are on the lookout for a shooter who took the lives of two young men from Wylie over the weekend. The victims, 18-year-old Alan Chavez and 17-year-old Ruben Arzola, were fatally shot on West Buckingham Road near North Garland High School around 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 14. Garland police reported that the shooter fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle.
