Senator Tim Scott delivered a scathing indictment of the modern Democratic party, which he believes has become an extremist political institution since its capture by far-left elements. He insisted it is not negative to point out President Joe Biden’s poor stewardship of the country.
In an interview published on Sunday, the South Carolina Republican emphasized the upbeat message he has been emphasizing during his Faith in America listening tour in crucial early-voting states as he considers whether to enter the 2024 campaign for the White House.
Scott claimed the modern left is formulating a plan for America’s destruction, likening Democrats to drug dealers peddling a toxic mixture of victimization and pessimism because of their negative portrayal of America.
Moreover, he said, citizens must be able to contrast the reasons this country is excellent with why the left wants to air complaints. The left promotes the opium of hopelessness and the addiction of victimhood.
Although there is much to be thankful for in the United States, he said, many Americans currently feel like they are sinking into quicksand.
Scott inquired about the climate of fear around criticism of their beloved leader and his rogue government. He wondered why it is wrong to note that America has had the highest inflation in 40 years under Joe Biden’s leadership.
The senator from South Carolina has been very vocal in his criticism of Biden, even going so far as to say that the elderly career politician, who has spent the better part of the previous half-century wallowing in the D.C. swamp, may have been corrupted by communist China.
In a separate interview, Scott claimed that Biden keeps China at peace. He doesn’t know if Biden is compromised, but won’t stand up to dictators worldwide, he added of the nation’s 46th president.
Scott has been spoken about as a possible presidential candidate in 2024, but he has been cagey about whether or not he will actually make that announcement. In response to a reporter’s inquiry on the status of an announcement, he revealed to the news outlet he had decided to go to church at 11:30 that day.
Suppose Senator Scott does decide to run for the White House. In that case, he will join fellow South Carolinian and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former President Donald Trump, and biotech entrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy, who has been nicknamed the CEO of Anti-Woke Inc., all of whom have already stepped into the fray, with the anticipation that several more, like rock star Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, may soon enter the battle too.
