Self-Defense Shooter Cleared of Charges in Fatal Rock Hill Shooting

Rock Hill, South Carolina – A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday afternoon in Rock Hill, resulting in the death of a woman after a dispute with a co-worker led to a fatal shooting. The Rock Hill Police Department responded to the scene on Riverwalk Parkway near Cel-River Road around 3 p.m.

Authorities found a woman who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and she was rushed to Piedmont Medical Center where she tragically succumbed to her injuries. The male co-worker who shot the woman remained at the scene and was detained by the police as they conducted their investigation.

However, Reed, a resident of Lancaster, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
