Search Continues for Second Suspect in Beaumont Food Mart Robbery and Murder

Beaumont, Texas – Police in Beaumont are still in search of a second suspect involved in a fatal robbery that took the life of a food mart clerk on Friday evening. The victim, Sheikh Abir-Hossain, 34, succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained during the robbery, according to Beaumont Police spokesperson Haley Morrow.

The incident occurred at Kris Food Mart, located at 3090 Gulf Ave, where two armed men entered just after 10 am and held the clerk at gunpoint. Following the shooting, one of the suspects fled the scene with stolen cigarettes before being apprehended.

Keandre Robinson, 19, was arrested within three hours of the incident and is currently being held on an $800,000 bond for murder. However, the search for the second suspect, who was described as wearing black jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “NERD” printed on it, is still ongoing.
