After affecting over 400 individuals across 44 states, the outbreak resulted in 158 hospitalizations and tragically claimed six lives. In response to the outbreak, the Food & Drug Administration issued a warning to consumers who may have frozen cantaloupe products, urging them to verify if their items were part of the recall.
