Los Angeles, California – An elderly woman was viciously attacked in a violent road rage incident at Los Angeles International Airport, leaving her unconscious and with major injuries. Police are actively searching for a 38-year-old man involved in the brutal altercation, which was captured on LAX surveillance cameras.
The disturbing incident occurred on May 31 just before 9:30 a.m., as the elderly victim was checking her luggage curbside near three other individuals. Two men engaged in a fistfight related to road rage ran towards the woman and brutally struck her in the head, rendering her unconscious. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition by paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Despite the severity of the attack, both individuals involved failed to provide any aid to the elderly woman. LAPD Det. Scott Danielson expressed shock at the lack of assistance, emphasizing that the victim could easily be someone’s mother or grandmother. The woman has since been released from the hospital, although the full extent of her injuries remains undisclosed.
One suspect involved in the altercation turned himself in to the police and has been arrested. However, authorities are still searching for the other man, identified as Jasan Givens Sr. Known to drive a silver Chevrolet sedan with visible damage to the front passenger door, Givens remains at large.
