Pennsylvania family presumed dead after shooting, fire ravages home

EAST LANSDOWNE, Pennsylvania – Tragedy struck a quiet neighborhood in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, as a shooting and house fire left six family members dead, including four adults and two children. The alleged gunman, identified as Canh Le, 43, is believed to have been involved in a heated argument with his 13-year-old niece before the devastating events unfolded.

According to reports, Canh Le’s mother, Chin Le, heard the argument between her son and niece, during which Canh mentioned getting a gun. She expressed confusion as to why her son, who had no history of mental illness, had the gun. The identities of the deceased have yet to be officially confirmed, but Chin Le also stated that her other son, Xuong Le, his wife Britni Le, and their three children NaKayla, NaTayla, and Xavier, are among the victims presumed dead.

The incident began with police responding to a report of a young girl being shot. Upon arrival, two officers, David Schiazza and John Meehan, were shot, and the house was then set on fire. Tragically, both officers were injured, but are expected to survive.

Chaos ensued as the shooter reportedly fired from the third floor of the house, eventually leading to the building being engulfed in flames. Emergency crews have been working tirelessly at the scene to recover the bodies of the victims.
