New Polls Show Biden Is Sinking Faster Than The Titanic

According to recent Rasmussen Reports, President Joe Biden experienced a 10 percent decrease in his poll numbers over an 11-day period, which was described as a “mysterious collapse.” The decline occurred between May 8 and May 19 and included the following:

  • An 8 percent drop among Democrats.
  • A 4 percent decrease among Republicans.
  • A 14 percent decrease among independents.

A national public opinion firm, Rasmussen Reports, is the only one that continuously tracks President Biden’s job approval ratings. Two significant events have contributed to Biden’s decline.

Firstly, there was a notable increase in illegal immigration, with 83,000 foreign nationals entering the United States illegally, the highest number ever recorded. This surge coincided with the end of Title 42, a policy related to immigration and Covid-19. Secondly, Special Counsel John Durham released a report on the Russian collusion investigation, which showed that due to a lack of substantial evidence, the FBI could not pursue a case against former President Donald Trump.

The Rasmussen Report also provided a poll on illegal immigration, showing that most voters believe the problem is worsening. The southern border is currently in crisis, with a 3-to-1 margin in agreement. The poll states that 57% of likely U.S. voters think illegal immigration is worsening, compared to 54% in August of the previous year. Only 12% believe the situation is improving, while 29% believe it remains the same.

When the border was overwhelmed, President Biden was seen laughing about the record-breaking surge while on a bike ride during one of his weekend trips to his luxury beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. When a reporter in the press gaggle asked about the situation at the border with the lifting of Title 42, Biden responded, “Much better than you all expected,” followed by laughter.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas expressed his belief that the Biden administration wanted this influx of immigrants to occur. He described the situation as a crisis and an invasion, emphasizing that the administration encouraged more people to come in, disregarding the consequences and increasing casualties. Cruz made these remarks two days before Title 42 was scheduled to end.

Cruz’s statement reflects the growing concerns among critics of the Biden administration’s handling of the immigration issue. Many believe that the surge in illegal immigration, coupled with the release of the Durham report, has contributed to the decline in President Biden’s poll numbers.

The public’s dissatisfaction with the administration’s approach to border security and immigration policies has affected Biden’s popularity, particularly among Democrats, Republicans, and independents.

The juxtaposition of President Biden’s laughter during the border crisis only adds fuel to the fire. Critics argue that his lighthearted response undermines the severity of the situation and shows a lack of empathy for the challenges faced by border patrol agents and the communities affected by the influx of illegal immigrants.

The combination of these events and the public’s perception of the administration’s response has significantly impacted President Biden’s standing in the polls. As a result, his approval ratings have experienced a notable decline within a relatively short period.

How the Biden administration addresses these concerns remains to be seen. The ongoing challenges at the southern border and the implications of the Durham report continue to be pressing issues that demand attention and effective solutions, something Biden seems unwilling to do.
