Ahmedabad, India – Police authorities in Gujarat, Western India, have apprehended five individuals suspected of involvement in a violent attack on international Muslim students at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad. Several students, hailing from various countries including Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, the Gulf states, and African nations, were injured during the incident. Two students, one from Sri Lanka and another from Tajikistan, sustained severe injuries and had to be hospitalized. The police have initiated an investigation into the case and registered a case against the suspects.
