Detroit Lakes, Minnesota – Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the tragic murder of Detroit Lakes missionary Beau Shroyer in Angola. The Angola Press Agency reported that Beau Shroyer, aged 44, was discovered lifeless in a vehicle in Thienjo, a town in southern Angola, on October 25.
Authorities identified Bernardino Isaac Elias, 24, and Isalino Musselenga Kayoo, also known as “Vin Diesel,” 23, as the latest arrests linked to the murder case. In a shocking turn of events, Shroyer’s wife, Jackie, was also taken into custody and alleged to be the “mastermind” behind the crime.
According to reports from Angola, a third suspect, 22-year-old Gelson Guerreiro Ramos, is currently evading capture and is wanted in connection with Shroyer’s untimely death. Manuel Halaiwa, superintendent of criminal investigation at the Angola Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), revealed that the motives for the crime stemmed from suspicions of a romantic involvement between the individual who orchestrated the crime and her co-conspirator, who served as the couple’s guard.
Authorities disclosed that Elias allegedly enlisted Kayoo to carry out the murder of Shroyer in exchange for $50,000. Prior to the fatal incident, Elias and Jackie scouted the crime scene to determine the location where the heinous act would transpire. On the day of the murder, the perpetrators rented a car, drove to the predetermined spot, and staged a breakdown while Jackie ventured into the woods, culminating in Shroyer’s tragic demise by knife.
Following Jackie’s arrest, Troy Easton, the Lead Pastor of Shroyer’s congregation, assured church members that arrangements were in progress for the care of the couple’s five children. Easton conveyed his shock and grief over the distressing news, emphasizing the community’s commitment to supporting the Shroyer family during this tumultuous period.
