Murder Suspect Surrenders After Standoff in Glendale Home, Victim Found Dead

GLENDALE, Calif. — A standoff in a Glendale home ended with the arrest of a murder suspect after a body was found on Wednesday evening, according to police officials. The incident began with a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at a residence on Reta Street, prompting a response from local law enforcement.

Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of the assault but were unable to locate the suspect or victim. As a precautionary measure, three nearby schools were briefly placed on lockdown while the situation unfolded. After a tense standoff lasting several hours, the suspect, later identified as Vahan Keshishyan, 28, surrendered to authorities.
