Murder Suspect Arrested in Connection to Lake Park Shooting Case

Lake Park, Florida – A 21-year-old man from West Palm Beach now faces a first-degree murder charge in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred outside a home in Lake Park on February 1st. Kedon Davis was taken into custody on April 24th, making him the third person involved in the case along with Quran Nixon-Wynds and Le’Darius Flowers, both also 21 years old.

According to investigators, the three men were implicated in the death of 23-year-old Lee Daniels, who was shot and killed on Bayberry Drive. Evidence collected at the crime scene indicated that Daniels was not armed, with 32 shell casings being recovered from the incident.

The arrest reports for Davis, Flowers, and Nixon-Wynds did not explicitly state if the attack on Daniels was in retaliation for the murder of Brandon Watson, a 20-year-old man who was killed in West Palm Beach the day prior in what was described as an ambush by the police.

During a court hearing at the Palm Beach County Jail, Davis was provided with legal representation from The Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office. The office later withdrew from the case due to a conflict of interest, and an attorney appointed to represent Davis refrained from commenting on the situation.

Further investigation revealed that witness statements, surveillance footage, and cellphone data linked Davis to the homicide scene. Davis initially denied involvement but later changed his story, admitting that Flowers visited his home on the day of the incident. Additionally, location data from Davis’ cellphone placed him near the crime scene at the time of the shooting.

The case continues to develop as law enforcement officials work to bring justice to the victims and their families. Davis, along with his two co-defendants, will face the legal consequences of their alleged actions in connection to the tragic events that unfolded in Lake Park earlier this year.
