Murder-Suicide in Sacramento County: Names of 2 Victims Released

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The identities of two of the three individuals involved in a murder-suicide in Sacramento County have been revealed. According to the county coroner’s office, 45-year-old Jennifer Elaine Evans Brown was one of the victims of murder, while 56-year-old Larry James Brown took his own life. The identity of the third individual has not yet been disclosed.

Deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check request at a residence on Shadow Creek Drive by Hackberry Lane, where they discovered the bodies with gunshot wounds. The sheriff’s office confirmed that a husband killed his wife and another man before committing suicide. Although the two identified individuals share the same last name, it has not been confirmed whether they are the husband and wife.
