Murder Mystery: Police Seek Answer in Tiesha Rogers Cold Case

DUNDALK, Md. — A decade has passed since Tiesha Rogers was tragically killed in front of her Dundalk home, leaving her family still seeking answers and justice.

Rogers had recently moved to Conley Street when the deadly shooting took place on March 9, 2015. On that fateful night, as she and a friend returned home from a shopping trip, they were met with gunfire, resulting in Rogers losing her life while her friend survived the attack.

According to Baltimore County Police, the assailants, believed to be two individuals, approached the friends, shot at them, and then hastily fled the scene in the 7200 block of Conley Street. Residents in the area shared with WMAR-2 News a strong sentiment that the gunmen had been lying in wait for the victims, anticipating their return before carrying out the shooting.

Heartbroken over the loss of her granddaughter, Charlene Alexander expressed disbelief and pain, questioning why anyone would commit such a senseless act of violence against Rogers, whom she described as having a heart full of compassion and selflessness.

Rogers’ family recently reached out to raise awareness about her case, highlighting her kind and generous nature, hoping to generate new leads or information that could help solve the case. Despite a decade passing since the tragedy, no arrests have been made in connection to Rogers’ murder.

On April 9, 2025, authorities shared a composite sketch on social media of a person of interest they are keen to speak with in relation to the case, demonstrating their ongoing efforts to bring closure and justice to Rogers’ loved ones.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may have information, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, about the events of that night on Conley Street to come forward and assist in the investigation. Detectives are standing by to receive any tips or details that could shed light on what happened to Rogers on that tragic evening.
