Greenock, Scotland — Two men have confessed to the brutal murder of a 35-year-old man, Michael Beaton, in a crime described by law enforcement as both shocking and violent. Beaton was severely injured in an incident on Drumfrochar Road on November 26, 2023, where he was first struck by a vehicle and subsequently attacked with a knife.

Richard Mullan, 21, entered a guilty plea for murder at the High Court in Glasgow in November of last year.
