Murder: 66-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Gruesome Homicide of Her Elderly Mother in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A 66-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of her elderly mother following findings from an autopsy, prompting a homicide investigation in Palm Beach County.

Authorities responded to reports of a death on Ashley Drive West on Friday. Upon arrival, deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body of Patricia Blake, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding her death raised immediate concerns that led detectives to seek further investigation.

With Patricia’s primary physician located out of state, her body was sent to the Palm Beach County Medical Center for an autopsy. The medical examination concluded that her death was a homicide, with evidence suggesting it was not a result of natural causes.
