Migrants engage in violent brawl outside Midtown hotel in shocking new video

New York City, USA – A shocking video captured a violent brawl involving rowdy migrants outside a Midtown hotel. The disturbing footage shows asylum seekers wielding sticks, belts, and even traffic cones during the broad-daylight melee.

The altercation took place outside The Row hotel on Eighth Avenue, where at least a dozen migrants engaged in the violent confrontation. In the video, one migrant is seen threatening the group with a bat before being taken to the ground and attacked by four others.

The scuffle escalates as some individuals wear bicycle helmets while confronting each other in the middle of the street. Despite passing motorists, the brawl continues, with one migrant striking another on the head, causing his helmet to be knocked off before fleeing across Eighth Avenue.

The cause of the altercation remains unclear, as the NYPD has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident. The Row is among several hotels and shelters in New York City that have been converted to accommodate the influx of asylum seekers arriving from the US-Mexico border.

Since the spring of 2022, over 190,000 migrants have arrived in the city, with more than 64,000 currently housed in shelters. Recent months have witnessed outbreaks of violence in migrant hotspots, including clashes between illegal vendors and law enforcement in Jackson Heights.

In a separate incident, a migrant was fatally stabbed during a violent attack at a tent city on Randall’s Island. To address escalating tensions, Mayor Eric Adams has implemented curfews at various migrant housing sites across the city.

The video of the brawl outside The Row hotel serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by both migrants and authorities in managing the ongoing influx of asylum seekers in New York City. The incident underscores the need for effective support and resources to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
