Mass Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Four Injured in Strawberry Mansion Speak Easy

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – An investigation is underway following a mass shooting in Strawberry Mansion that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to four others. The incident took place on the 2400 block of Myrtlewood Street in the early hours of Sunday morning, where gunfire struck a total of six people inside a home, leaving bullets scattered across the street.

According to authorities, the victims, ranging in age from 22 to 53 years old, were inside a house that was being operated as an illegal speak-easy. The oldest victim, a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 41-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Additionally, a 42-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the hand and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Shortly after the shooting, three more individuals arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. These included a 28-year-old man who was shot twice in the leg, a 22-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, and a 33-year-old woman who sustained two gunshot wounds to the arm. All are currently being treated for their injuries.

As the investigation continues, police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are seeking any information or leads that may aid in identifying the perpetrators. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning as they come to terms with this tragic event.
