The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained injuries from a large machete but fortunately his condition is reported to be non life-threatening.

Authorities have released an image of Mohamed in an effort to track him down, as they suspect he might be evading capture. Detective Constable James Richardson emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting the violent nature of the attack and urging anyone with information on Mohamed’s whereabouts to come forward.

While the motive behind the attack is still under investigation, the Metropolitan Police have stated that it is not being treated as a hate crime. Despite ongoing efforts to locate Mohamed, authorities are seeking assistance from the public in apprehending him.

In cases of immediate sightings, the public is advised not to approach Mohamed but rather to call emergency services at 999.
