Man Fatally Stabbed on METRORail Train in Houston; Suspect Still at Large

HOUSTON, Texas – A man was fatally stabbed during a fight on a METRORail train near downtown on Sunday night, as reported by the Houston Police Department. The suspect is still at large and being pursued by authorities. The deadly stabbing occurred around 9 p.m. on the red line near the 1900 block of Main Street, according to HPD. Two men were involved in a physical altercation on the train, which resulted in one man stabbing the other multiple times before fleeing the scene. Meanwhile, the victim remained on the train and fellow passengers alerted the conductor to the situation. The train eventually stopped at a platform in the 4500 block of Main Street in Midtown, where first responders pronounced the victim dead from his injuries. Unfortunately, witnesses did not stay to speak with the police, but investigators are hopeful that some will come forward to assist in locating the suspect.
