Wolverhampton, United Kingdom – In a harrowing case, two 12-year-old boys have been convicted of murder for using a machete to brutally attack and kill 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton last year. This shocking verdict marks the youngest defendants convicted of murder in Britain since the infamous case involving Robert Thompson and Jon Venables in 1993. The court heard how the young boys viciously assaulted Seesahai and his friend while walking through Stowlawn playing fields, leaving Seesahai fatally wounded.
During the trial, it emerged that one of the defendants regularly carried a machete and that the boys were seen passing it between themselves before carrying out the deadly attack. Despite Seesahai posing no threat to his assailants, he was violently assaulted, sustaining a fatal 23cm-deep stab wound that nearly pierced his body entirely. The tragic incident occurred while Seesahai was in the UK for eye surgery, having originally hailed from Anguilla in the Caribbean.
