>London Birthday Party Stabbing: Transgender Teen Attacked at Roller-Skating Party, Suspect in Custody

A transgender girl was brutally stabbed 14 times at a birthday party in London, as reported in court. The teenager was taken to the hospital following the incident in the London borough of Harrow on Saturday evening.

Another teenager, Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court, facing charges of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in public. The court was informed that the victim was attacked by a group after being subjected to transphobic slurs at a roller-skating party.

The victim, an 18-year-old, was found at the scene with stab injuries and has since been discharged from the hospital. Betts-Ramsey, who cried in the dock during the proceedings, will remain in custody until a plea hearing scheduled for March 12.

According to The Standard, four people have been arrested in connection with the incident, and police patrols have been increased in the area. Detective Inspector Nicola Hannant stated, “This was a shocking and violent attack, and we continue to support the victim and her family as she recovers from her injuries.”

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation. The increase in police patrols aims to ensure the safety of the area and encourages individuals to approach officers with any information or concerns.
