In the video footage released by the Houston Police Department, Assistant Police Keith Seafus stated that the purpose of releasing the video was to provide information about the officer-involved shooting that took place on February 11th. The investigation is still in its early stages as authorities continue to gather additional evidence.

The footage showed the shooter, identified as 36-year-old Genesse Ivonne Moreno, arriving at the church with her 7-year-old son. Security camera footage captured the woman opening fire inside the church, leading to a confrontation with police officers.
