According to reports, Ikner was engaging in light-hearted banter with Christian college athletes, joking about aspects like his sleep habits and experiences with head injuries. However, students also described him as “weird” and “off,” noting his aversion towards women and his ADHD diagnosis.
On the day of the shooting, Robert Morales, a university dining coordinator, and Tiru Chabba, an Aramark employee, tragically lost their lives in the senseless act of violence.
