Homicide Investigation Underway in Meridian: Police Seek Public’s Help

Meridian, Mississippi – The Meridian Police Department is urging the public to assist in providing any information that could aid in the investigation of a double homicide case. Upon arrival, they discovered Miles Herrington, 97, and his wife, Ina Herrington, 94, deceased with multiple injuries.

Young stated that the violent crime unit of the Meridian Police Department has been activated to collect evidence and gather further information to advance the investigation. Both victims’ bodies have been sent for autopsies to aid in determining the circumstances of their deaths.
