High School Stabbing Captured in New York City on Video Shows Violent Brawl that Ends in Stabbing Spree

Queens, New York – Two students were stabbed in a stairwell fight at Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village, Queens on Thursday afternoon. The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported the violent attack took place around 1:30 p.m. when two 17-year-old students were attacked inside the stairwell.

One student sustained a stab wound to the stomach, while the other was stabbed in the shoulder. Both were taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center and reported to be in stable condition.

One person was taken into custody in connection to the attack but was not immediately charged, according to the police.

Video footage obtained by Fox News Digital captured the chaotic scene, showing students fighting inside the high school stairwell for over a minute. Furthermore, the video depicted large groups of students aggressively punching and kicking one another.

Following the attack, the school was placed on lockdown, and students recounted the tense moments. One student mentioned being locked out of the school, while another described how everyone was ushered into the library as they heard the sound of police cars arriving.

The NYPD’s response to the deadly altercation was swift, and the school community is left grappling with the aftermath of the violent incident.
