Gunfight Erupts After Man Allegedly Kills Girlfriend in Houston Gas Station Incident

Houston, Texas – Authorities are on the lookout for a man suspected of fatally shooting his girlfriend at a Houston gas station and engaging in a gunfight with a deputy constable. The incident unfolded at around 12:35 a.m. near MacGregor and Almeda, where a Houston Fire Department ambulance crew witnessed the suspect and a woman involved in a domestic disturbance.

According to reports, the HFD crew saw the suspect chase the woman to the store’s driveway and shoot her multiple times before the deputy constable arrived at the scene. The deputy constable, from Harris County Pct. 7, sustained minor injuries during the confrontation and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle after the initial altercation, leading to a pursuit by the deputy constable and subsequent gunfight. Despite the suspect’s attempts to evade authorities, the deputy constable continued to engage, resulting in more gunfire exchanges.

Following the incident, the wounded woman was provided medical assistance by the HFD crew and transported to the hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
