Fordyce, Arkansas – A tragic shooting incident at a grocery store in Fordyce, Arkansas, has left three people dead and 11 others injured, according to officials. The Arkansas State Police reported that the shooting took place at the Mad Butcher grocery store in central Arkansas around 11:30 a.m.

Mike Hagar, director of Arkansas State Police, stated that the shooter also had non-life-threatening injuries, while some of the other victims were in extremely critical condition.

Matt Gill, a butcher working at the Mad Butcher, recounted the moment he and his colleagues heard the shots and quickly took action to evacuate the store, ensuring the safety of those around him.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders expressed gratitude towards law enforcement and first responders for their swift actions in responding to the shooting in Fordyce, a small city located about 70 miles south of Little Rock, Arkansas.
