Firefighter Killed in Explosion Battling Front Loader Fire in Littlerock, California

LITTLEROCK, California – Tragedy struck a desert community north of Los Angeles as a veteran Los Angeles County firefighter lost his life while responding to a vehicle fire at a local quarry. The incident, which occurred around 2:10 p.m., resulted in an explosion that claimed the life of a 19-year firefighter and left another injured.
