The blaze, exacerbated by adverse weather conditions, spread to a dozen neighboring structures, according to statements made by local officials. The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined, but fortunately, no injuries have been reported. Meanwhile, a second fire incident occurred in Fardis, near the Montazer Ghaem power plant. Initial reports indicated no flames at the facility, but Iranian authorities later acknowledged the incident.
The Fardis fire started around 8:41 p.m. in a portable cabin adjacent to a waste platform at the power station. Strong winds are believed to have fueled the fire, allowing it to spread across approximately 2,000 square meters. In response to the expanding flames, nine additional fire trucks were dispatched, and emergency crews successfully brought the situation under control.

The Iranian Seismological Center confirmed that a 4.0-magnitude tremor struck at a depth of 8 kilometers near Mahdasht, located on the border of Alborz and Tehran provinces.
