Father Arrested After Delhi Gym Owner Stabbed to Death on Wedding Day

New Delhi: A festive celebration in South Delhi turned into a tragic event as a gym owner was tragically killed just hours before his wedding. Gaurav Singhal, the 29-year-old owner of Fit Box gym, was found in a pool of blood after being stabbed by his father, Rangalal, who has since been taken into custody by the police.

According to authorities, the gruesome murder was allegedly fueled by Rangalal’s pent-up anger towards his son, who he claimed insulted him on a daily basis. Gaurav was brutally attacked with 15 stab wounds to his face and chest at his residence in Devli Extension, where he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The tragic incident occurred on the day Gaurav was set to embark on a new chapter in his life through an arranged marriage. The guests, awaiting the commencement of his wedding procession with jubilation, were met with shock and devastation upon discovering his lifeless body at Raju Park during the early hours of the following day.

Local authorities, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankit Chauhan, swiftly launched a manhunt for Rangalal, who had gone missing shortly after the heinous act. The culprit was apprehended later that evening, much to the surprise of the victim’s family, who initially dismissed any suspicions of foul play within their own ranks.

The abrupt turn of events has left the community reeling as they grapple with the shocking loss of a young entrepreneur on the brink of starting a new chapter in his life. The investigation into the tragic incident continues as authorities work to uncover the motives behind such a senseless act of violence. The abrupt disruption of what was meant to be a joyous occasion serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the unforeseen tragedies that can shatter the fabric of a family’s existence.
