Fatal Shooting Leaves One Dead and Two Injured in Waco Overnight Incident

Waco, Texas – In the early hours of the morning, tragedy struck the city of Waco as one man lost his life and two women suffered injuries in a shooting incident. This marks the second homicide case in Waco for the year 2024.

Authorities responded to a call about a shooting at around 3:01 a.m. in the 600 block of Ruby Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a 19-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment, where she is expected to recover.

Further investigation revealed that an 18-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man had also been taken to the hospital by someone else. While the teenager is expected to survive, unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the identities of the victims have not been disclosed.

Preliminary reports suggest that the shooting incident occurred during a heated argument involving several individuals. Authorities are still working to identify the shooter responsible for the violence.
