Fatal Shooting Investigation Underway in Northeast Alberta After 28-Year-Old Man Found Dead

St. Paul, Alberta – Police in northeast Alberta are currently investigating a tragic incident involving a fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Goodfish Lake. The St. Paul RCMP received a call about an injured man at a residence on Main Road in Goodfish Lake around 6:37 p.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save his life, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel. Due to the suspicious nature of the death, the RCMP Major Crimes unit has taken over the investigation.
