Fatal Road Rage Shooting of North Attleboro Father in Foxboro Spurs Plea for Dashcam Footage from Public

Foxboro, Massachusetts – The fatal shooting of a North Attleboro father, Justin Parker, has left his friends and family in shock. Known for his gentle nature and dedication to his daughter, Parker was killed in what the Norfolk District Attorney’s office is describing as a road rage incident.

Parker, 37, worked night shifts for the state highway department and was well-regarded by those who knew him. His best friend, Robbie Bonin, described Parker as family-oriented and emphasized his commitment to prioritizing his daughter.

Authorities have issued a plea to the public for information related to the shooting, focusing on a specific timeframe between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd. The investigation is honing in on Interstate 95 South from Waltham to the Rhode Island line, as well as the Southeast Expressway from Boston through Milton and Canton to 95 South. Officials are particularly interested in receiving footage from mounted cameras, such as those used by truck drivers, rideshare drivers, or anyone with a dashcam.

Bonin echoed the sentiment of law enforcement, emphasizing the importance of putting pertinent information into the hands of investigators. He expressed hope that the shooter would be brought to justice.

According to police, the gunman was driving a dark sedan that merged onto I-95 at 9:20 p.m. Parker was shot while on the highway in Foxboro, causing his black Mercedes to swerve into a family in a Lexus. Fortunately, the occupants of the Lexus were unharmed.

Friends of the victim are adamant that Parker was not involved in any altercations and describe him as a universally beloved individual. His tragic death has left those who knew him reeling, with Bonin noting, “He was special, he really, really, was.”

Authorities are urging those with video footage relevant to the investigation to hand it over to the police rather than attempt to review it themselves. District Attorney Michael Morrissey underscored the potential significance of the information, indicating that it could lead to identifying the shooter responsible for killing Justin R. Parker. Anyone with information is asked to call 781-327-9801.
