Fatal House Fire Claims Three Lives in Rose Hill; Investigation Underway

Rose Hill, Kansas – Three individuals tragically lost their lives in a house fire early Saturday morning, as confirmed by Butler County Undersheriff Daimon Cundiff. The incident took place in the vicinity of 15000 SW County Line Road, just north of Rose Hill along the border of Sedgwick County and Butler County.

Upon receiving the distress call around 3 a.m., emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene. One person was rescued from the burning home and transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to their injuries. Subsequently, two more individuals were discovered inside the residence, pronounced dead on-site.

The identities of the victims are currently being determined, with officials actively engaged in this process. Investigations into the cause of the fire will be jointly conducted by the Augusta Department of Safety and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
