SPRING, TX – A Facebook Marketplace transaction turned violent on Cypresswood Drive in Spring, Texas, leading to a shooting that left one man injured. Authorities received reports of the incident around 1:30 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
The confrontation allegedly began when the victim met with potential buyers in a residential area. During the exchange, shots were fired, and the victim sustained injuries to his abdomen. He was quickly transported to Memorial Northwest Medical Center for treatment. The other individual in the victim’s car was unharmed.
In response to the shooting, authorities established a perimeter around the scene and began an extensive search for the suspects. Information led them to a nearby abandoned house where several young adults were found. Among those detained were two individuals believed to be the primary suspects in the shooting.
