Sydney, Australia – A terrifying explosion at a mine south-west of Sydney left three men injured, with two of them trapped in rubble for nearly an hour. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, prompted a swift response from emergency services.
Reports indicated that the explosion led to a partial roof collapse inside the mine, causing chaos and endangering the miners. One man was thrown several meters and buried in rubble, while two others found themselves trapped up to chest height beneath the debris.
Emergency crews sprang into action, working diligently for 40 minutes to clear the rubble and successfully rescue the trapped miners. The men were then rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
The first man, who managed to free himself from the rubble, was taken to Liverpool Hospital, while the other two were transported to Wollongong Hospital. Fortunately, all three men are reported to be in stable condition as they receive necessary care and treatment.
